When you are reserving your shipping service, it is important to remember that the service will take time. The amount of time it takes to ship a vehicle varies on the distance that will be traveled during the shipment. The times to be aware of are:
- In-State Delivery: 1-3 Days
- Up to 1000 Miles: 3-5 Days
- 1000-1250 Miles: 4-5 Days
- 1250-2000 Miles: 6-8 Days
- 2000-3000 Miles: 7-9 Days
- 3000 Miles and Above: 9-11 Days
As you make your shipping reservation, keep these times in mind. Organize your pick-up date based on when you would want your vehicle to arrive at the drop-off destination.

Before you reserve your shipment, it is very important to make the right decision about what shipping style to book. We offer open and enclosed auto shipping. How to Get Your Vehicle Ready
Shipping your vehicle includes some preparation steps that can be done from your side. These are not required to do before shipping, but they do help make the process go more efficiently.
Wash Your Car
Washing your vehicle gives it a fresh canvas. This makes any imperfections or damage more visible, which aids in the inspection process. You will be able to see dents, scratches, and any other marks more easily. Be sure the driver takes note of any and all signs of damage prior to shipping and includes them on the Bill of Lading.
Have the Tank at the Right Place
There is an auto shipping sweet spot when it comes to your vehicle’s gas tank. You will want the vehicle to be around ¼ full. This gives the driver plenty of gas to use for pick-up and drop-off or in case of emergency. It also does not weigh down the vehicle too much, making it easier to ship.
